Sleep not optional

Oh my God, this week was hell. Classes five nights a week means I either forego sleep or risk getting creamed at recitation. And since I can't seem to help falling asleep, some disastrous recitations had to be endured. Last night's was particularly painful (I'm sorry sir, I'm just not ready...) so I've decided this can't go on. I will have to drop one subject. Di bale nang ma-delay. I need to sleep!

Oh yes, dear, sleep is definitely not optional. If you really are having trouble getting any shuteye, do drop a class. You don't want to get sick, we don't want you getting sick.

Wow, Carrie! OK, I forgive you for not posting more often, now that I know--really know--you have a hellish schedule! :) Yes, do drop a subject and do yourself a favor. Either that, or develop insomnia like me. Not a good idea...

Haha, never thought I would consider somebody with insomnia lucky ;P I have done the deed, dropped the subject of my least-liked prof, heheh. The best thing about it was, since it's only the 2nd week of classess, may refund pa--hah!

isn't there a stigma attached to people who drop subjects?

Maybe, but it's still better than failing. In the face of impending defeat, retreat! To live to fight another day :P
